I’m Francisco. This is where I learned to love padel.
I grew up in Portugal and live in Amsterdam now, but every holiday I can get, I’m back at Villa La Caleta, my home in southern Spain. I picked up a racket here as a total beginner and worked my way up to low-advanced on these same courts.
A few years ago, friends started asking to come with me. Now I organize a small number of these trips a year for padel groups who want what I have here: good courts, a great villa, and people who actually want to be there.
I’m not your coach. I’m your host, making sure everything works so you can focus on your game.

Warm days, cool evenings. The best all-round conditions to play and to relax by the pool after.
Summer
Long, vibrant days. Court time shifts to mornings and evenings to dodge the heat. July adds €100 per person, August adds €200.
Winter
Escape the cold. Indoor courts are available, so the trip runs exactly the same whatever’s happening outside.
More than a holiday. Here’s what players remember most.
We came for a long weekend of padel and barely wanted to leave the pool between sessions. The villa is five minutes from the club, so we were back floating in the water within ten minutes of finishing a match.
Played more padel in four days here than I usually do in two months back home. Court time is absurdly cheap compared to what I’m used to, and having the whole group under one roof made the evenings just as good as the matches.
I went in as the weakest player in the group and left feeling like I’d actually improved. The coaching was proper one on one attention, not just running through the same three drills. Waking up to that pool every morning didn’t hurt either.
Every retreat is personally organised by me, so dates are limited. I only host a small number of groups each year, to make sure every trip gets the attention it deserves.— Francisco

Every package includes accommodation, coaching, court hire, the tournament, and exclusive use of Villa La Caleta throughout your stay. Price per person is higher for smaller groups, since the villa, coaching, and court hire are shared across fewer people.

Every package runs Thursday to Sunday, three nights. Want the slow Monday morning too? Extend any package by one night for €120 per person, breakfast included. Pricing shown for Spring and Autumn dates. July adds €100 per person, August adds €200, see “When to go” above. Private chef and airport transfer available as add-ons. Flights not included, minimum group size 6.

A few things people want to know
What level of player is this for?
Coaching groups are split by level on arrival, so this works for beginners through local league regulars.
How do we get there?
Fly into Faro, about an hour’s drive, or Seville, about ninety minutes. Renting a car is recommended since ride-hailing apps don’t operate in the area.
What if our group is smaller than 6?
Get in touch anyway, it may still work at a slightly different price.
Do we need our own rackets?
Bring your own if you have one. Loaners can be arranged with advance notice.
Can we book this as a company or corporate trip?
Yes. Alongside the weekend dates above, we also run the full experience midweek for corporate groups and team offsites, when court and coaching availability is even better. Reach out with your dates.
